I am not quite sure what size bike I will need – can you help?
We can help of course, as we carry such a large number of bikes finding a suitable bike is not an issue. If you have a specific requirement it may help to contact us prior to your visit.
What should I bring with me when hiring?
This depends entirely on what you are planning. In general you should wear comfortable clothes and perhaps a wind proof or water proof if the weather is changeable. Of course at warmer times of the year make sure you have sunscreen and water, which we sell in our hire centre. If you are planning a longer trip we have touring packs available with various tools and equipment.

If you are hiring you can rent for as long as you like. If you need to extend your hire at any point just contact us and we can amend your details.

Yes please bring your pedals with you when collecting your bike so we can fit them.
Is there a delivery option and is there a charge?
While we prefer customers to pick up bikes in person so we can give you a custom fitting and test ride, we can usually arrange bike drop-off and/or pick-up at most hotels, guest houses and holiday lets in Brighton & Hove central area as while as the rest of Sussex. There will be charge. Please mention it within our booking form, fill in our contact form or call on to arrange a delivery.
I am not very fit, is Brighton hilly?
We’re not all Bradley Wiggins! The great thing about Brighton being on the coast and adjacent to the South Downs is that it caters for all levels of cyclists. We have flat easy coastal rides or more challenging hills if that is what you are after.
I want to bring my family but I don’t know where to go and how long to hire for?
There are many routes that you can choose from lasting from just an hour. For additional peace of mind there are also many nice off road, easy routes that can also be followed. We have maps available just ask for more information when collecting your bikes.
What ID do I require?
For all bookings we require to take a copy of a photo ID for one member of the party.
What deposit is required?
We will take a pre- authorization of £100 on your debit or credit card which will be cancelled on the safe return of your bikes.
